Molybdenum Disulfide is the lubricant of choice when electrical or static discharge is of concern since it is non-conductive. SBE60 offers exceptional load bearing capacities equal to brass and bronze bearings. Like all phenolics, SBE60 will not seize in bearing houses which reduces changeover times. Compared to thermoplastics, SBE60 prvides superior load-bearing properties and has a coefficient of thermal expansion that more closely matches metal shafts for bearing applications. SBE60 is often used for staves in water-cooled bearings.
